This letter is in regards to the experiences that we at Parkland College have had with PE Systems. PES contacted us requesting the chance to review the fees that we pay in order to accept credit cards. I must admit I was initially skeptical. I am approached countless times a week on ways to save on all sorts of costs (banking, collection, etc). But, after some detailed discussions it became apparent we literally had nothing to lose.
Since signing on with PE Systems we have been extremely pleased, both with the monetary savings and the service level we have received. PE Systems has kept us in the loop on every aspect of the process. We have several different methods for receiving credit card payments (in person, Internet, telephone, etc.). Each one required a different method to obtain Parkland the lowest discount rates possible. It was amazing to see all the hidden costs we were paying. Costs we would have never known to avoid or how to do so. PE Systems has also been careful to respect our local banking relationships and keep those in a positive place as well.
Given more and more people use credit cards to make all kinds of purchases, I feel we took advantage of PE Systems’ services at just the right time. I highly recommend this service not only to those who would like to save money on their credit card processing, but would also like to have some insight into the intricate, complex world of credit card fees.
